I recently had Footprints Floors Minneapolis resurface and stain my hardwood floors, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Hayden was fantastic to work with: professional, responsive, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. The floors look brand new and completely transformed the space. We thought about having our floors refinished for quite some time but weren't sure who to go with. The floors were solid wood that had been stained and prefinished prior to installation. We were told that this is process would be tricky, time consuming and that possibly we wouldn't be pleased with the outcome. We had Hayden work on a floor replacement for one of our tenant units. It involved a lot of "de squeaking" of floors and an additional underlayment for soundproofing. He went above and beyond at every step - he was knowledgeable about the materials, straightforward with the approach, and fair in pricing. Even though it was a tenant unit they treated it like it was for the homeowner, which I appreciated a lot. The team worked quickly and there were no mistakes. They had warned us the threshold between the kitchen might give us some issues, and it has, but it is a nearly free and easy fix (5 min) and minor in grand scheme of things. I went on Angie's List and Houzz and interviewed a bunch of companies - Footprint was a clear winner from the getgo. Highly recommend.

We hired Footprint Floors to remove the carpet on our second floor and stairs, and to install flooring to match what we already had on our main floor. They were prompt in communication with us, and helpful in guiding us to get the correct materials and identify solutions for components to the project we hadn’t considered. When install day arrived the team was efficient, minimally disruptive, and over all did a great job. They were able to work around a few pieces of furniture we were not able to move from the main floor - relieving significant stress on our end. When the stairs ended up not matching perfectly they went above and beyond to find a solution. We absolutely love the final product!

Hayden and his crew were great to work with. They installed laminate flooring on steps and in bedroom replacing very old carpet. It took just a couple of days to remove all of the carpet and install new flooring. Everyone said steps are tricky to do but they did it and the minor issues that came up they presented alternatives and overcame the issues. It was all done for exactly what was quoted also.

Footprints Floors Minneapolis gave us very prompt service for both quoting and installation. Time from RFQ to onsite estimate/measuring was less than a week and after we accepted the quote they were able to schedule install the next week. The crew came out and installed 600 sqft of flooring in a day! I would definitely recommend these guys for any of your flooring needs.

Many thanks to Hayden, Walter and team for their customer oriented persistence in getting this project finished. Oak flooring was interlaced. Sanding came out smooth and right up to the quarter round. There was minimal dust. It took an extra coat to get the water based finish smooth, but Hayden was there to fully back up our project and his installation.

Walter and Hayden recently sanded and stained my wood floors, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They worked efficiently, minimized disruptions, and maintained a clean workspace. We hired Footprints Floors for a laminate flooring repair. I was worried because the damage was in the middle of the floor - a significant amount of planking had to be removed to access the damaged ones. On time and professional floor refinishing, beautiful work! Estimate was reflective of work and there were no surprise cost. Carson told us up front that in his professional opinion a dark stain would be better than the clear. Gary and his team worked really hard and did a great job installing the oak hardwood flooring. We also had hardwood stairs installed to replace carpet. We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Footprints Floors! We had a crisis in the DIY installation of vinyl plank flooring, when we discovered that the material we purchased was not going down as we anticipated. We called Footprint Floors and Hayden was so responsive, being able to come out the same day to take a look at it. He then was able to schedule his crew to come the same day! We were under great pressures because the carpet installation in the same space was to be in the next day or two. The crew from Footprints came out to try to lay the floor, and they too discovered it wouldn't work (it ended up being defective). This helped us know that we needed to return that product and find another, which we did. Then the crew came back so quickly and they were able to lay the floor. It is beautifully done and looks spectacular. I was so impressed with everyone at Footprints Floors, and would definitely have them top of my list of flooring professionals. Thank you!
