One thing this company knows is how to do business professionally. Grant was here throughout the entire process, making sure we were satisfied with our flooring (which with an old chemical stain, it wasn’t easy) and was great with communication throughout the project. Drew was also great about getting us setup and explaining the process.

Initially we started our flooring project with a big box store. In the middle of the job they advised us to call contractors due to issues with our subfloor and we were forced to find someone else to help us finish our project. Drew, Grant, Pablo and team were wonderful to work with. They installed our hardwood floors and made us feel at ease from the beginning. The communication was unbelievable compared to others we worked with- they were responsive , kind, and willing to do whatever it took to ensure we were happy with the final product. I will use them again and refer them to anyone I know.

Footprints flooring has been a phenomenal experience. We had a substantial damage to our white oak hardwood floors related to a water leak. After hearing so many people relate their terrible experiences having contractors in their home, I was concerned about how the following weeks would unfold. The Footprints team exceeded all expectations. Excellent communication was facilitated between us and the workers. There were four overriding phases conducted by separate teams: initially the damaged flooring was removed, then new white oak was placed, then sanding, and finally refinishing. Each crew was very respectful, hard working, timely, and courteous. The results make it evident that their work isn’t just a job for them, they take pride in their work. And I would be proud to hang my name on such work. ———————————— July 2025 update … this is an updated review from my original post almost 4 years ago. Since then we moved to a new home… which happened to have more mold issues that we didn’t learn of with the home inspection. This time, we knew who to call for our torn up floors. Footprints flooring for the win! We had a rigorous schedule with the various contractors involved in the mold remediation, but Grant Allen orchestrated his team seamlessly to fit into the available windows to get the job done right. To complicate matters, all this was happening during a family vacation that we had been planning for over two years. Grant gave us the feedback and kept us in the loop so that we could enjoy our much needed family time and confidently know we were taking the best care of our house. We returned home to drop dead beautiful floors. No considerations were forgotten. They go the extra mile of the genuine little guy who cares about their trade. If we need floors, we will use footprints flooring. Thankful to Grant and his team.

From the moment I called to the time they finished Footprints did an exceptional job!!! I can’t believe how beautiful my floors look. Footprints had to match up the existing hardwood floors because of that carpet in lay in the living room and boy they pulled it off. Drew is so extremely knowledgeable Brian soought everything through to the very end and Anthony and Vega who installed the floors worked five days straight 12 hours or more a day this is l old fashion work ethic company. Haven’t seen this type of craftsmanship in a long time. We are absolutely thrilled. I was also surprised by the price not bad at all. My neighbor used them that’s how I learned of this company and my hand to God there are 20 more people in My neighborhood. Looking forward to getting their floors done by Footprints. Can’t say enough good things about Ben and Footprints Floors. As new home owners, it can be overwhelming when you see things wrong with the house you just bought. Ben came to look at our tiles and shower fixture with an open and helpful attitude, and didn’t make me feel silly for asking a lot of questions. He put my mind at ease, and listened to all my concerns, however small. Will absolutely recommend to anyone who needs their services.

I would give more if I was able. This company does what it says, and says what it does. Ben was great at communication, he told us a price upfront and it never changed, even though he had to purchase some extra thin-set. His guys were on time every day and where very respectful, clean, efficient and put quality into to there work. We were very impressed with all aspects and will definitely be using them again. If you have any flooring, tile, backsplash’s or just about anything they seemed to be very well rounded in all aspects of residential construction give them a call.

We had Ben come out and look at our master shower due to some grout issues. He provided impartial advice and guidance on some possible solutions to rectify the issue which was refreshing as often you are just sold to. He provided an immediate and reasonable estimate, free of charge, with no pressure to move forward should it not be right for us. I would thoroughly recommend Ben and the Footprints team if you are considering tiling and flooring projects.

We were incredibly impressed with the work done by Footprints Floors at our home in Louisville. After having the carpet removed, we discovered some highly unusual "remodeling" work done in haste from the home's past, damaged wood, but what seemed to be a potentially salvageable hardwood situation. Footprints was quick to respond, and thorough in their assessment of what needed to be done. We were thankful to learn that our red oak floor, mostly in reasonable condition, could be saved. We felt the price was reasonable, and appreciated the quality and frequency of communication from Brian and the team. The work itself was extraordinarily good, blending in new wood with old virtually seamlessly to the degree that it's hard to believe the wood ever looked differently. The final finish and quality is excellent. At the end of the job, a minor detail (not a mistake on Footprints' part really, but a miscommunication about the door threshold) was evaluated quickly and corrected.

The staff at Footprints Floors presented an excellent image which helped establish the expectations. Anthony was very conscientious and detailed when laying the subfloor and tile. I am very pleased with the sunroom and I send my thanks for a job well done.

They refinished my original hardwood floors from 1961 which had been covered by carpet for several decades, and the floors look even better than I had imagined. Footprints Floors got me on the schedule for installation very quickly and kept me informed. Kristian did a great job with the installation. They guys are always wanting to do the job right.

I contacted Footprints Floors after a weekend of failed luxury vinyl plank installation myself. Jim arrived the next business day to give me a free estimate. Within minutes, I had an affordable estimate and was able to schedule the installation for the following week. Ben was very flexible and accommodating with my work schedule and actually drove to downtown Louisville to collect the deposit. Ted arrived the day of installation and completed my basement and basement bedroom flooring the same day. I can’t say enough about his work ethic. He completed the job within 8 hours and didn’t even stop to take any breaks. The next day, Trent came out to do a final walk through and we discussed future projects and vision for my home. This is a company I’ll be happy to use again in the future and recommend to family and friends for being affordable and great quality. Ben was very professional and provided a detailed quote as well as any challenges I may have in trying to repair the tile floor. The guys that came to repair the floor were incredibly quiet, clean and efficient. The team did an excellent job, communicated very well, were early or on time at each meeting and I would use them again and recommend them to others.

A great experience from beginning to end! I'd like to say up front that I'm blind, and so I have to really be able to put a high degree of trust in people I invite into my home to perform work. Everyone at Footprints was trustworthy, reliable, and exceptionally competent. Everyone who has seen the floor and tile backsplash they installed has been incredibly complementary. And to top it all off, I work from home and was able to perform my job for all three days while the contractor was working in the kitchen. Just a great experience. 100% would recommend!

Footprints recently did some floor repairs (complicated wood installation) and installed a new backsplash in the kitchen. Ben is a professional and took the time to walk through the process, do all the measurements and suggest the best approach to some of our unique flooring issues. I made a few mistakes in the selection of my marble tile and did not purchase enough material for replacement flooring. Ben was very patient through this process and went the "extra" mile in making sure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. Highly recommend this company!

We are in the process of remodeling our home. We have had a few quotes from some other companies, and no one had yet suggested getting our floors restored. The first day Ben came out to look at our floors, he suggested a restoration. I thought our floors were done for as they had previously been painted with a dark brown outdoor paint (yes, it was me that did it..I had no clue what I was doing), and at that point the floor was very chipped/ damaged, missing planks, etc. The kitchen had wood planking that we were planning on ripping up completely, and even some water damage in the bathroom flooring. From day one, Dennis came out to strip our floors on time as well as was he on time or early every day after that. Very professional and knowledgeable about flooring. The communication from all staff was very precise and consistent. It was absolutely mind blowing to see this work being done in real time. The bathroom flooring was done with luxury vinyl planking and completed in one day. Our floors are absolutely beautiful, my husband and I are completely blown away! We’d put 10 stars if we could. Fabulous work redoing my basement flooring. They were able to quickly seal in old tile and cover with LVP with excellent craftsmanship.

Knowing ahead of time that the demo and replacement of 1500 sq ft of tile was going to be stressful to live through; Ben made the experience ALOT more bearable. He came to the house each day to check the progress, communicate with his team and answer any questions or concerns that I had throughout the process. We were under a very tight schedule, right before the holidays and he made sure it was completed. He even came back after being paid to address a couple of concerns. First off- Ben is a fantastic person to work with and his team is no different. Ted did the tile work in our master bathroom and flooring in the kids bathroom. Ted is a very pleasant person, skilled in his craft, and always had our best interest in mind when moving from one task to the next. He would ask us how/where we preferred things to go. The project ended up taking an extra week to complete but great work takes time!! My wife and I would not hesitate to use footprints again. I'm a Big DIY guy and very meticulous about doing things right the first time. There were a few minor things that needed to be fixed and after asking they were happy to take care of them.
