I had the pleasure of meeting David Muir from Footprints Floors of Fairfax for a consultation. He was very professional and took the time to thoroughly explain the project details. His expertise and clear communication made the entire process easy to understand. I appreciate the time he dedicated to answering all my questions. Highly recommend his services!

David came for an estimate and told me right off the bat my project was too small for what he and his team does. However, he gave me the names of some handyman companies that could help, as well as talked me through some options for other potential project in my home while walking me through the process and how much disruption I would face. Even though I didn’t end up hiring Footprints, I’m super happy with the service I got and would definitely use them in the future.

I was very pleased with the service David provided. He assessed my hardwood floors and provided a few options. I would recommend him to others who are wanting to install or refinish their floors.

Excellent service from beginning to end! We were very impressed with the quality of flooring expertise, bringing back our original vintage oak floors to look so new they blend with brand new oak planks in the room over!

This was as good as it gets for us. Excellent communication throughout, expert problem solving along the way, and superior workmanship. We had our hardwood floors redone on two levels, removed tile and feathered in new flooring, stairs, baseboards, the works! Everything looks immaculate and Ricky and the team were efficient, clean, diligent, and a joy to be around. Ricky in particular attacks each challenge with joy and enthusiasm. Resting floors is a big job- Footprints made it look easy. David Muir runs a great, customer-oriented operation. 5 stars all the way
