The installers were excellent. They took great care moving the furniture and the new hardwood flooring is wonderful. At the end of each day they cleaned the work area and at the end of the project placed each piece of furniture back and swept the floor. We were planning a pretty big flooring project & honestly didn't know where to start. We went to a few stores and wandered around not knowing what we were looking for or where to begin. I worked with Brian, Clint, and Alberto as the lead for the crew who “demolished” three different floorings and installed the Greenguard LVP flooring of my choice as well as installing the full treads for my staircase renovation project. All were responsive, great communicators, and the new flooring eliminated transitions, with the crew leveling the subfloor and adding screws where needed. They ensured a random pattern in my LVP wood-look planks and even hauled out two couches to the dumpster that was on-site for the replaced/torn out flooring. The team worked extremely well together coordinating tasks with light banter and laughter. Baseboards were reinstalled and clean up was very well done. I highly recommend Footprints Floors of Columbus for any flooring project you are considering. With a crew of six and the Lead, Alberto, they finished an 880 sf area of flooring and the staircase in 7 hours.

I used Footprint Floors to install laminate on my first floor and had them downstairs caps on the steps leading upstairs. I had them come back over 3 years later and put same laminate in my 2nd floor rooms. I was worried about how they were going to work with my large heavy furniture in the two rooms but they made it work without having to disassemble my beds! Footprints Floors of Columbus was a find! They beat out two competitors (including a major retailer and a smaller shop) on pricing, scheduling, and completing the order to satisfaction. I have had floors resurfaced several times in previous homes but frankly this crew did it best. They also installed LVT for me in appropriately placed rooms, which also turned out great. If you’re looking for a team that does what they say they will at a price and availability you feel is fair, please give this company a call. Cannot say enough good things about them.

It took my wife and I over 6 months to decide on what route to take with our flooring installation. We met with 5 installers and finally choosing Footprints was an easy decision. The pricing for the job was very reasonable especially for such a high caliber installer. We had a fairly large residential job, and they came in with a large crew and completed the work in 5 hours. Wood putty in all nail holes, etc. I will be hiring them again to finish up another room. Highly recommended. 1100sq/ft of 3/4” hickory installed in a day and a half.
