Out of the seven companies I had come out to give quotes, Mark was by far my favorite to deal with. He was professional, knowledgeable, and their prices were amazing. Eric followed up and managed the project, and he was also great to work with and clearly knew his stuff. Pedro and Damian handled the installation, and both did a fantastic job. I couldn’t be happier with how the floors turned out. The new hardwood addition looks amazing, completely seamless with the rest of the floor after the full refinish. Every morning, Pedro took the time to explain what they would be doing for the day and kept me updated on the progress, which I really appreciated. We had our hardwood feathered and extended from the kitchen and informal dining room to the living room and formal dining areas. Upstairs we installed laminate in the hallway to the master bedroom and adjoining retreat. We had six estimates and Footprint Flooring was the least expensive yet with the best reviews. Footprints Floors is the best flooring company in Colorado Springs! They installed solid oak flooring to match existing very old oak flooring and refinished the entire area. The old oak matches the new flooring EXACTLY and the finish is absolutely beautiful! Their price was amazing and all the people who work at Footprints, from estimate to completion of the work were wonderful, I’m so happy with the outcome of this project.

Had my hardwood floors redone that were in pretty rough shape. Mark communicated the process well and answered all of my many questions and concerns. Pedro and Angel were friendly and took time to show me all the stains I wanted sampled on the floor. The whole process took three days and included some laminate removal and disposal. I really love how the floors turned out and have no complaints at all. I feel like they completed everything exactly as it was explained to me and I would absolutely work with them again.

He then booked me for two days after our conversation. Pedro and Angel came on time and I was quoted 830am-4pm and they were done at 1130am. Their work was professional and super quick. Imagine buying a nearly $1M house and the discovering when moving in that there are big scratches in the wood flooring from furniture being moved out and dull shadows where large area rugs had been. Called Footprints hoping for expert flooring advice and options to restore the wood finish. Mark carefully evaluated the problems and explained that due to the ridges in the hand scraped flooring, that screening or buffing were not options since the flooring was not smooth and flat. Even though Footprints could not provide restoration services, Mark spent several minutes with me discussing DYI cleaning and other possible options that might improve the appearance of the flooring. Very friendly, professional, and considerate - rare qualities in service providers. Would not hesitate to work with Mark and Footprints flooring.

We needed floors refinished that are over 100 years old, and we were afraid it wouldn't be possible. Mark came to our home and not only knew exactly what kind of wood they are, but how they'd been milled originally and everything about preserving this historic wood. Then, we were amazed by the very reasonable estimate. Communication was excellent as well. When the floors were refinished, parts of it took five times longer than a typical floor. Throughout the process, staff members communicated with us and gave above and beyond to make the floors beautiful. The end result on a job that was even more complicated than we originally thought it might be is gorgeously refinished, historic floors that we will enjoy for many years to come.
