FOOTPRINTS sent a team composed of three outstanding workers to refinish my red oak kitchen floor. All three of them are of Brazilian heritage. One was born here in the US, but grew up in Brazil. Another -- Marcos the team lead -- was born in Brazil. He arrived in the US at age with his nurse mother 14 years ago. He will become a US citizen in one year. The third worker arrived in the US a couple of years ago, and is now being trained as an apprentice. They're all three hard and skilled workers. They meticulously covered all of my kitchen doors, cabinets countertops and an island with plastic to protect from dust that was created when the oak floor was sanded. Then, they did a great sanding job on the floor. Next, the floor was custom stained to as close as possible match my family room and living room oak floors. All of us thought the chosen stain color was good, until varnish was applied. Then, the color match was clearly not right. Marcos, head of the team, quickly said that they were halting the varnish application, and after it dried they would resand the entire floor to remove the stain and varnish. Next, they sanded the first stain away within a 3 x 3 ft area, surrounding it with blue masking tape and sub-dividing it into 6 separate sections. Marcos then hand mixed 6 slightly different stains. Once those stains were dry, we selected the closest match to the other floors. Result: A perfect match was made and applied. Finally, two coat of commercial grade oil-base satin varnish was applied. Result: A very smooth and outstanding new floor for my kitchen Bravo for FOOTPRINTS, Marcos and his assistants! I highly recommend THEM.

The install team was professional, respectful of our home, and worked incredibly hard. Our tile looks absolutely impeccable! Adam, the General Manager, did a great job of explaining and organizing the project of redoing our staircase. He followed through constantly making sure we had all the necessary materials to fully complete the project. He came and counted everything to be sure it was all there. JULIO, the installer did a fantastic job and the staircase couldn't look better. Everyone was very nice and eager to please. We are very well satisfied with the result. Adam and his team were great to work with! We were having our fireplace converted, and wanted the old black marble replaced with tile. The tile we chose was not easy to work with, but they did an excellent job and we are very happy with the results. Great attention to detail and great communication throughout the process. Working with Adam at Footprints floors was a pleasure from start to finish. Excellent communication throughout the process. Took our ideas and helped us find tune them to turn out a Main Bathroom project that was better than we had hoped for. John, our installer was great and his attention to detail was key! Any issues that came up (as they do in any project) were quickly addressed and several options were presented to keep the project on track and up to our expectations to make the bathroom beautiful. When it came time to install and throughout the process, they over communicated which left my wife and I feeling incredibly Confident about the process. Terrific service. We had Adam come (not sure if there are other people to come for estimates) and he was so helpful for all of our questions and curiosities. He took time to work up multiple quotes for us, thoroughly looked at all the floors, explained everything, etc. he wasn't seeming annoyed that we kept him probably longer than he expected, nor annoyed that we had multiple quote requests. He knew saving money was important to us and walked us through all of our options of various costs. Ultimately, the responsiveness and respect for our budget made our decision very easy to choose this company. The workers were EXTREMELY fast and kind. They helped my husband fix our vent registers and such. I can't say enough positive things about working with this team! We would hire them again immediately for any other flooring concerns. Adam and his team did a fantastic job. Our home had some challenges to address due to being an older home and they were creative in fixing the issues. Our home looks like new with the luxury vinyl flooring. They did the entire main level in 3 days (removing old, prep, and installation of new). All of the crew members were kind and professional and respectful. Adam was very patient with all of my questions with the process and with floor selection. I highly recommend them.
