Wow! I can’t believe this kind of customer service still exists today! Not only was Oliver attentive and intuitive to what I was looking for in my flooring needs, but the entire team checked with me to make sure I liked the install along the way! I have a house from 1860, so squaring corners and making things look good can be hard, but they did it! I’m SO happy I didn’t try this myself! The price is also VERY fair! I will definitely be working with Footprints in the future. They installed my floor as if it was their own!

I have to say that Footprints Floors and their crew completed an outstanding hardwood floor installation! The precision and YES craftsmanship demonstrated in addressing some unusual challenges with our flooring was unbelievable! I normally don't bother with doing ratings, etc. but in light of this particular performance I almost feel like it is a public service to do so, knowing how difficult it sometimes is to find competent and professional teams to do your projects. I’m an interior designer in RI, CT and MA. I can not tell you how much I respect Oliver and his team. In my field things, change constantly and as such additional “needs” become important to stay on track. Oliver’s team came in to strip and refinish all the floors and was fantastic with whatever new obstacles presented itself: A hearth in a 100 year old home needed to be removed, replaced with 100 year old “fur” to match the remaining floor - His team did not hesitate; under a carpet in a closet on the third floor - flooring was removed,replace by new wood and recovered with the carpeting and the 100 year old matching fur was then placed in the dining room, blending seamlessly. Again on the same job - the kitchen island was moved an additional 4 ft from original layout, and once again Footprints matched the space seemlessly! Last 2 photos show the old red finish on the floors throughout, the hearth that was removed and the closet they were able to take wood from to match the dining room. Such fantastic work.

From the quote to completion... great! I had a very difficult custom staircase that was covered in an awful thick rug. They took care if the stairs and two bedrooms. They look beautiful... they left everything so clean. Great job!!

We needed to replace a damaged subfloor and the tile in our laundry room and bathroom. Oliver was a pleasure to work with and he made helpful suggestions on choosing tile. He was quick to respond to our questions by phone/text. Setting up the estimate visit and the floor replacement was easy and it didn't take long to set up the work. The workers showed up on time. They were professional and quickly had the old ceramic tile removed, the subfloor fixed, and the vinyl tile installed in about five hours. They took the time to add quarter-round molding where needed and to caulk the baseboards when they put them back on. They cleaned up after the job. The floor looks great and we are pleased with the work. I'd recommend Footprints Floors.

Footprints did a great tile improvement on the floor of our Laundry room. We reached out to several other companies for an estimate and consultation on the unique multi-colored tile pattern that my wife had designed, and Footprints was the only floor company that agreed to the design, AND they gave us a very reasonable price! We will certainly hire Footprints for future projects.

Recently Oliver and his crew completed an update of our kitchen and laundry room floors. Update included removal of old ceramic tile floors and installation of new tile. They did an amazing job. The floors look beautiful and the work was completed on time. We were expecting an enormous amount of dust and mess because we have an open floor plan but they did such a great job of sealing the rooms that the dust throughout the house was minimal. Oliver was consistently available for questions and feedback. We highly recommend anyone considering a tile job to work with Footprints.

He also was very clear about The possibility that a certain area of the floor might have to be replaced so I wasn’t surprised when they had to add plywood under a section of floor that have been damaged. They also did an amazing job getting rid of a blue stained staircase. (Yes, the whole staircase!!)I would recommend these guys to anyone as a 10 star review because of their communication skills, the job they did and the fact that they show up when they say they’re going to show up and if he is going to be delayed, he communicates. That is often not the case in Rhode Island for whatever reason so I highly recommend Oliver and his team.
