I had such a great experience using Footprint Floors to lay some luxury vinyl plank after my townhouse flooded from my water tank collapsing while I was out of town. My work hours were making it difficult to try to get quotes for labor from a couple different companies and so I came across them and all their reviews on Angie’s list originally, read so many positive things, and sent my inquiry and contact information in. Tim was the first person that I worked with from the company and he gave up his Saturday to come out to my house and sit down and talk with me and give me two different estimates based on my projects and answer questions that I had, as this was all foreign to me. He told me to reach out when I wanted to get scheduled that they didn’t have a booked out waiting list that it was going to be able to work with my schedule, be done timely (one single day, demo and install!) which I feel is unheard of. Once I got on the books for my installation, the project manager Saul reached out to me and was very responsive, very communicative and made sure that everything was ready to go for install day. Him and his team arrived at my house at 8am like promised, ready to go, and started working swiftly right away. I got updates throughout the day on their progress, estimated time of completion, more than one could ask for. It was also nice working with them being a single female homeowner, the professionalism and the comfortability with the team is hard to come by in a lot of places, and I could not speak more highly of using Footprint Floors. I am definitely glad that I stumbled upon their reviews myself and would encourage anyone to reach out to them for their next project as well. I was expecting to walk into a semi dirty house after ripping out carpet and shattering tile, but I was even more impressed at the clean up the crew did of my home, It’s rare when people treat your things with a level of respect that they would treat their own and that’s what I feel like they did. I feel like his team treated my house as if they were working on their own homes. I was a little bummed that they were already gone when I got home from work so I couldn’t personally think them myself, but I made sure to express my gratitude to Saul and to pass along my thanks to everybody involved start to finish at Footprint.

We’ve loved working with Footprints Floors. They installed hardwood throughout our home and more recently, they built out a shower alcove and did the tile in our bathroom (shower and floor). They also helped with a consultation when we were planning the bathroom work. It all looks stunning — I’ll try to remember to update with photos when the full bathroom project is finished. Every time we’ve had questions, or when there has been a roadblock, even when it was our fault, our project manager Saul helped find a solution. Footprints also has great recommendations for plumbing, drywall, joist work, etc. We’ve been lucky to work with them and will absolutely go to them for any future projects!

Footprints floors has to be the best in Nashville. I have used them on multiple projects from backsplash to tile showers, tile floors, wood floors, laminate. These guys know how to do it all every member of their team is extremely friendly and accommodating. The guys in the house doing the work were very respectful and take care in protecting our home. They clean up after themselves and are there when they say they’re going to be there. do yourself a favor stop scrolling and get footprints a call.

Footprints went above and beyond to help us upgrade our flooring. As with the other reviews, my experience with Footprints Flooring couldn't have been better. We had Footprints refinish some 25 year old red oak parquet flooring. And turn rough, basic, carpeted stairs into red oak hardwood stairs. We had done what we thought was a good job preparing for their arrival. We moved furniture, put items away we didn not want to get dusty. Saul and his crew came in and covered everything with plastic so dust wouldn't go all over the house. In a couple of days we had gorgeous new parquet floors that we love ad a brand new staircase! The stairs were very tricky. Built in the 70s, they would not meet codes today. They were shallow, different sizes and make 180 turn with multiple triangle shaped landings. One of the crew members, Miguel was an artist when came to building the stairs. The molding alone is perfection! We are very happy with the final product!

Josh, Saul & the team were great! They managed to take some really awful old cherry floors and help me find a stain to neutralize the red. They put down a lot of samples to help find that color that worked best. I appreciated them taking on the challenge - The great news is if you have cherry Floors and you don’t like the red call footprints.

I can’t say enough about the great job Saul and his team did on our floors. We hired them to refinish our existing floors, fix a small area and add replace our family room carpet with hardwood. They came a couple of weeks early and gave us six good sized samples so we could see what they looked like. They started and finished on time and kept us updated including sending us pictures. The floors look great. The new floors were integrated seamlessly and we can’t tell where the old floors end and the new floors begin. Very easy to work with. We are going to use them to refinish the upstairs floors. I highly recommend them.

I want to commend Footprints Floors for a job well done. We hired them to refinish our hardwood floors, fix a small area and add hardwood floors in our family room which had carpet. They came a couple of weeks before and gave us six large samples so we could really see what they would look like. They showed up on time, kept us aware of their progress by sending us pictures and finished on time. The floors look fantastic and you can’t see any difference between where the old floors end and the new floors start. Very easy to work with. They did such a good job that we are using them to refinish the upstairs floors.

My experience with footprints (updated). Pros: My floors look beautiful! The crew worked hard and efficiently. Miguel is great. They have truly fantastic customer service. Cons: Cost a lot more than original quoted in both time and money. Rushed to make decisions on scope of job change and stain color. Damage to cabinet kick plates, stair risers, and walls. Lost 3 floor vents (they replaced all) Boot footprint left in my floor. (They came back and remedied this). (If you want more details) Explanation of cons: The estimator told me I could just have my floors skim coated to refresh them. But when the crew arrived they changed their minds on the condition of my floors and told me they had to be fully refinished. Doubling the cost we were estimated. This adjustment came after we'd moved everything out of the house, and booked an airbnb. Now that the floors had to be fully refinished I tell them I want to change stain color but given that I did not know I was fully refinishing until the day they arrived I needed to choose a color. They put down several options as test areas on my floor so I could see what it would look like. Then give me a few hours to get back to them with the color choice. This is a very long term decision that felt rushed. Fortunately, I'm really happy with the color I chose. They have a large selection of color options. I asked if my walls, stair risers and cabinets would be protected during the process and they assured me they would. We had just had all our kitchen cabinets painted 3 months prior and the house freshly painted. Unfortunately the cabinet kick plates, stair risers and walls from about 4 ft and below all had scuffs, and scratches. They did come back and touch up the walls but I was told the risers and kick plates are the owners responsibility and damage to those is inevitable. We re-painted those area. I know now that floors should come first before painting anything! We were missing 3 of our floor vents which they replaced and even stained them to match my floors. After my original review Kyle reached out and took care of everything in a matter of days. I have updated to 5 stars because I would definitely use footprint floors again primarily because of their awesome customer service. They truly stand by their work and do their best to make happy customers. I really appreciate their willingness and responsiveness to resolve all issues!

We recently hired Footprints to install new flooring in our home, and overall, were satisfied with the results. The crew was friendly, showed up on time, and worked efficiently to get the job done within the expected timeframe. The floors look good, and the space feels refreshed and much improved. There were a few minor details that could have been handled a bit more carefully, but nothing major. Communication was generally fine, though there were a couple of times we had to reach out for updates. All in all, Footprints delivered solid work at a fair price. While there’s a bit of room for improvement, we’re happy with how things turned out and would consider using them again for future projects.

I cannot say enough great things about this company. We had a repair and we did not have a lot of extra tile. They made it work. We had a floor from 1962, they tore it out and kept the old pink tile we wanted to save intact. I can’t tell you how many times they came by to check on things. And, their craftsmanship is fabulous. I will always get my flooring installed through them.

Shortly thereafter, a date was confirmed to begin the job. Kyle was the project manager who arrived promptly on the start date with his crew. Also, he was diligent being onsite daily at times during the project to make certain it was completed to our satisfaction. Footprints Floors installed a tiled kitchen backsplash including an accent wall and kitchen island wall. Marvin was the tile installer for the backsplash who did an exceptional job. His work is outstanding and there is nothing that Marvin cannot accomplish as a tile installer. He is extremely meticulous, highly skilled and an exceptional craftsman in his trade. Just had this company refinish an office that got a dark spot on the hardwood floor. Saul came out and did the estimate and was on time and communicated well during the whole process. His team did a great job redoing the floor (was done by another company last year who would not return calls to see if the wanted the job). It matched up well with our foyer area so it blends in well with all the hardwood floors. Team was very conscious to put up plastic to minimize dust outside this room and foyer. Guys were very professional in their work. I would recommend this company to anyone else.

Our foyer hardwood is older than the rest of the house and we wanted to refinish the area to attempt to match the stain as closely as possible to the newer flooring. Footprints did a great job. We had an issue with the floor boards that they replaced and it took a little while to resolve, but once I was able to talk to the right people (there seemed to have been some turnover) they were able to fix the issue. Saul was great with communication and very helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure the project was done correctly and even found a better color match for the floor. So, eventhough there was some frustration at first, they made it right and it looks better than it did the first time.

I’ve had a great experience with Footprints Flooring. I had my cramped, stained, carpeted staircase replaced with a red mahogany, and I absolutely love it. Tim consulted me on the project, provided an estimate, and gave me some great guidance as I wasn’t sure where to start. I was able to schedule quickly and easily. Saul oversaw the project and provided some of the clearest communication I’ve ever gotten from a renovation/remodel service. He reached out to coordinate all of the details of the project including timing of the project, delivery of materials, and gave me thorough instructions for maintaining the stairs once they were done at the time of scheduling. He even came out to the house to sign for the materials on short notice because I couldn’t leave work at the time of delivery! The day before, he called to give me a time frame and answer any questions. The day of, he stayed onsite to communicate any necessary information while the crew got started and even checked in by phone when he had to check in on another project.
