I've used Footprint Floors of East Atlanta for two jobs and have been delighted with the service and the work both times. The first time, I was planning to use Home Depot or Lowe's installers for Luxury Vinyl Plank I purchased, but I read enough reviews that led me to seek out other options. I contacted Kevin at Footprint Floors, and he was responsive. His pricing for installation was competitive with the others for far superior service and follow through. I've also seen other installations of the same flooring I've used in other homes and the work is not nearly as solid as Kevin and his crew. It was so good that I used him on a much bigger second project within a few months. I rarely write reviews, but this experience made it worth it!

I sought a couple estimates and Footprint Floors were extremely competitive. I also had a very pleasant meeting with them on their visit. Skipping to the end, the job was completed to my expectations, and the new hardwood looks amazing! Now a very important part of the review. There was a problem with how the floor initially took the stain and sealer. It very could have been the bad weather we had at the time of installation. Typical GA cold, then sunny and warm all mixed in with the rain out yards love. Bottom line is they went above and beyond to correct the issue as they were not about to disappoint a customer. If you’re looking for a new floor, these are your guys!

After nearly 2 years of hiring numerous companies and contractors to do upgrades on my house, Footprints is the first company that I have had a good experience with. Excellent actually. I contacted them online about having the hardwood floors refinished in three of my rooms, was replied to quickly, then had a salesman, Kevin, show up and give me a very fair quote. I scheduled it for a few days out, they arrived on that day and did exactly what they were supposed to do, and actually went above and beyond by replacing several strips of wood that were damaged. The work was fast, clean, and done to 100% of my expectations. I kept expecting a problem or an issue because every single other person who has worked on my house has had one, nope. Everything went very smooth and the work looks incredible. Anxious to get them back out to do the rest of the house when I have the rooms open.

I’m giving 5/5 stars for the overall installation of the floors and for Kevin’s prompt attention to issues I had with the detail work. I had carpet removed and LVP installed in the whole upstairs (2000 sq feet). The price was good and on the lower end of the quotes I got. When I first saw the floor I was blown away. It was beautiful! Then I noticed some sloppy detailing around the door edges (uneven door lip covers, staples and carpet bits still in the wood, missed the entry closet install). I also purchased new baseboards for them to install in the kitchen. To my surprise, they also replaced the baseboards in the entry to the kitchen from the garage (nice, but not what I said) and to my horror, they tried to replace the baseboards in the laundry room. I had not purchased baseboards to cover that so they just removed all the baseboards and left it that way. I immediately reached out to Kevin and he was there that evening installing the baseboards himself. He fixed the door lips (they look great now). And the next day he had his guys come out and do the overlooked closet and get rid of all the staples and carpet bits. By the time it was done, everything looked very very nice. I’m once again very happy and have beautiful floors all around. Seriously though, Kevin’s response to my concerns blew me away. Very professional and very prompt to fix the issue. We had prefinished hardwood installed on the 2nd floor. He was so helpful in helping us match the coloring to the existing wood on the 1st floor. Also had marble tile installed in foyer and removal of stair runner. Then had stairs sanded and stained. Excellent job!

A leak in my kitchen damaged the laminate flooring I’ve always disliked. Kevin provided me with a quick estimate and guided me through the process of purchasing hardwood without pressuring me to use his supplier. Perfect! I had 3 bedrooms and the living room floors refinished. The guys were professional and sanded up to the edge and into the corners. They finished up early so they waited and put the final coat on so they didn't have to come back the next day, which was great for me. I recently used Footprints to repair my kitchen floor after a leak damaged the subfloor. Kevin and team came to the rescue and quickly replaced and repaired the existing floor. From there they sanded and re-stained the floor to match them perfectly with the existing floors in the house. All work was completed on-time and with top notched quality.
