We are delighted with the results and our entire interaction with Nate and Footprints Floors.We had some water damage to our 13 year old solid birch (dark stained hand scraped) wood floors. Fortunately we had enough of the original flooring that craftsman Taras was able to replace 10 boards. That alone repaired the water damage and looked very good, but Nate performed a secondary process of cleaning, bonding and adding a finish coat over the entire 600 sq ft of flooring that really makes it look nearly new again. Highly recommend!!

Nate and his team redid our floors back in April 2025 and we are still so impressed with the final results. Not only did the team put in such dedicated work, but they fit us in on a time crunch project. Thank you again!

I started my flooring project by getting estimates from three highly-rated contractors. Nate from Footprints Flooring stood out immediately — his write-up was the most detailed, and during the walkthrough, I got the strong sense that his team would not only do excellent work but also take care of my home in the process. Nate remained my main point of contact throughout the project. He was always responsive, helpful, and professional. The job itself involved installing new oak flooring in part of the house and matching it to the original 1957 wood flooring in the rest of the home — not an easy task! Slavic, the installer, did a masterful job. The transition is seamless; it now looks like one continuous floor throughout the house. I’m happy with how everything turned out and highly recommend Footprints Flooring for their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and great customer service.

Nate and his installer have meticulous attention to detail. The job was quoted to take 3-4 days, but was done in 2! Nate came back to make sure everything was completed at the end. Highly recommend, wouldn’t seek a second quote.

I cannot recommend Footprint Floors Northwest highly enough! Nate came to take a look at a small job at my house and walked me through all the options. Rather than trying to convince me to hire him he explained to me how I could do the job myself and save money rather than hire him for it (since it was a small job and it didn't really make sense). Despite not having any work for him, Nate spent a ton of time with me going over the project and even offered to share some materials with me. I have had a really tough time finding honest and reliable contractors to tackle various home projects and I know I will never look anywhere else for help with flooring installation/repair/refinishing.

Nate and his team (Vlad + Nick + others) did a great job refinishing our floors. We had a combo of solid red oak/white oak and they refinished them so they looked brand new in our 23 year old home, which had a lot of water stains and looked a bit worn out. The red oak was bleached to match the white oak, and it looks so much more modern and new. Thank you so much! Nate also gave us tips on how to maintain them, which we appreciated. Posted photos but it looks better in person!

Although a project like this always causes disruption, Nate's crew held that to a minimum, including actually beating the originally estimated time to completion. First off, I am an Architect who is a bit hands-on when it comes to work in my own residence. I hired Footprints Flooring to replace failing sheet vinyl with new Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) in our laundry room and two bathrooms. I chose Footprints primarily because Owner Nate (himself) visited our house to prepare estimate; he is highly communicative and responsive (rare for contractors these days). Like myself, Nate is also detailed oriented and thoroughly covered demo, subfloor, LVT installation, transitions and schedule and was the only one who researched availability of the LVT we wanted before coming out to prepare estimate. Footprints' price was competitive and Nate was more than fair on charges for unforeseen subfloor overages. His installer David did a fantastic job, was polite, respectful and responsive to my comments - making sure his finish work met or exceeded my standards. We couldn't be happier with the finished result and their final clean up was thorough. I highly recommend Footprints Flooring.

We called Footprint Floors to install wood in place of the old carpet we currently had. We originally wanted to match existing wood in the house. Once the installers got here they realized that the new wood was not the same height as the already installed wood. We immediately spoke with our Sales rep, Nate and worked out a new plan to replace all the wood in the house. I was so pleased during the remodel of my house to find original hardwood floors. Now, after repairs and refinishing from Footprints, the floor is my favorite part of the remodel. The kitchen and hallway to our bedroom did not have wood originally, but they've weaved in the new wood with the existing wood so well, it all looks original. Nate sanded and efficiently finished an old oak floor, fixed imperfections, so it looks beautiful. He used a special LED light to cure the oil finish. I was able to walk on the floor right away. I would highly recommend this company.

Having worked for general contractors in various capacities for over 42 years I had experiences with dozens of subcontractors. From these life experiences there are a number of attributes that seemed to be markers for firms that performed well. When it came time to have our 1990's hardwood floor refinished, I looked for a firm that showed these qualities. I was not disappointed finding Nate with Footprint Floors. He and his firm did an exceptional job in refinishing and patching our red oak floors. Specifically, Nate showed a genuine interest in or project, he kept his commitments, showed up on time for scheduled meetings and was a great communicator. In finding a floor color to match the intent of our interior designer, he provided multiple color options trying to hit the right shade and hue. When he was not satisfied with what we thought was a decent match he came up with a final sample that was spot on. When it came to scheduling his crew for the work he showed up to walk the job with me and his workers, then followed up and walked our project when completed to make sure it was up to his and our expectations. We have received multiple compliments on our floors since we remodeled. Based upon our experience, I would use Footprint Floors again and recommend his firm to others for their hardwood floor projects.

Nate and his crew did an excellent refinish of our floors. It was a large project with over 600 sq feet of wood that needed to be refinished. It included 2 different rooms and a hallway. Nate was a pleasure to work with and his crew started and finished the job in a timely fashion.

Nate the owner was eager to help me out. My original sub contractor quit/walked of the job without completing his work and did a sub par job. I needed someone to install my shower glass and these guys came to the rescue. After Nate looked at the job and found all the mistakes he told me that the shower pan that was installed had to be redone/replaced b/c it was not flat or level and the glass would not seal properly to the foundation and the foundation probably wouldn't even support the glass. Also needed some grout cleaned up and some tiles repaired but wound up replacing. The attached before pictures probably won't even do justice as to how bad it really looked, and the after pictures (WOW) what a difference. And David his installer is a super nice young man and the pride in his work really shows. I would highly,highly recommend Footprints Floors for any needs of their services. From beginning to end top notch service great attitude and very professional !!

Footprints Floors did an amazing job with my bathroom. I had to coordinate with plumbers for removal and installation of the toilet while Footprints handled the removal of old floor and installation of new vinyl flooring. Brief hiccup when the new flooring left too large of a hole around the toilet pipe and the toilet would not fully cover it, which was left unmentioned by the plumbers who installed the toilet despite the two very obvious holes on either side of it. A friend had to help me remove the toilet again. Nate Yarusso with Footprints came to my rescue and redid that portion of the floor free of charge and even installed the toilet again himself, and refunded me for half of what I paid to the plumbers, since they did a bad job.

Ultra knowledgeable, super helpful, patient and generous. Gave us a much needed 2nd opinion on how to repair our luxury vinyl plank flooring. You can trust this guy! A real pleasure.
