My experience with Mike from Footprints Floors was exceptional in every way. He took the time to help us decide the best way to fix part of our hardwood floors that were worn and also to extend the 18 year old hardwood into our dining room that was carpeted. He decided to replace the damaged section instead of refinishing the entire floor. He also gave me the option to search for a better price on the hardwood if I didn't want to buy from his supplier and even spent his time searching to make sure he couldn't find it cheaper elsewhere. His supplier ended up being the best price. There was absolutely no pressure or sales tactics during the estimate. He even made sure that the delivery process of the flooring was perfect, checking in when it was scheduled. He and his crew arrived on schedule to do the work. They were pleasant, neat and so fast! The work is beautiful! I recommend him highly - it is obvious that he cares about his business and making his clients happy. The first photo shows our original flooring damage in a section of our kitchen, the second photo shows the finished replacement that he transitioned into the undamaged hardwood, the third photo shows the new hardwood where we previously had carpet butting right up to the original hardwood hallway.

We had some major issues with our LVP flooring coming up after it was installed a few years ago due to a bad installation. I called MANY companies, big name companies to see if anyone could come out to fix it, or give us some kind of solution. NOT ONE company would help us, but every one of them would sure give us a quote for brand new flooring. I found Mike and Footprints Floors after literally searching posts on Facebook using key words (LVP Flooring repair) and found a post someone made a year ago asking for help for the same issue and asking for referrals, and in those comments someone suggested Mike. From the first contact, he was extremely kind and scheduled a time to come and see our problems. He said it shouldn’t be too difficult to fix and scheduled a day to come back to make the repairs. He came the day he said, and pulled up big sections of our flooring and laid new planks down. He was here 3 hours and did an amazing job. He was also extremely fair on price. When the time comes for us to replace our entire homes flooring, we will be calling him. When no other company cared to help, he did. So he will now be our go-to for all things flooring. My floor is stunning. We had the entire first floor of the house refinished. We went with Mike because of his responsiveness and the products he uses. It did take longer than anticipated, but that was after finding some rough spots at the final inspection. I’d rather it take longer and be done right than be left disappointed. I called Footprints Floors because I had some bowing in the floor of a house I just moved into. Mike came out a few days after I called to look at it. He tested the moisture and told me he thought the bowing was caused by a water intrusion incident that appears to have been resolved. He told me to keep an eye on it and that the floor would very likely return to proper condition on its own as the moisture escaped. When I asked him if there was any regular maintenance recommended for his company to do, he said "no". Then he went on to give me recommendations for which cleaning products are best for a hardwood floor. I appreciate that he was honest with me and didn't try to sell me service I didn't need. I will call Footprints in a heartbeat for any future hardwood floor needs.
